In this episode of the We Have Hope podcast, I’m diving into the back-to-school season, sharing some of my own experiences as a school counselor and a mom.
As the school year kicks off, it’s always a mix of emotions, challenges, and opportunities for growth, both for our kids and for us as parents. With the “Billy Madison” movie song playing in my mind, I can’t help but laugh and reflect on how our school routines have changed over the years—from juggling schedules to making tough decisions about my children’s education.
I’ll also be sharing some practical advice on how to navigate this transition smoothly. For me, setting goals, staying active, and staying connected with my kids’ school have been key. Whether it’s joining the PTA, attending family nights, or simply communicating openly with teachers, being involved in my children’s education has made a big difference. I encourage you to trust your instincts, make informed decisions, and embrace the new school year with confidence.
Join me in this episode as we explore ways to make this back-to-school season a successful and stress-free experience for our families.
